Tefnut

Description: She has a head of a lioness, holds a scepter in one hand and the ankh in the other, wears a solar disc on her head, and usually wears a dress.

Role: Tefnut is the goddess of moisture. She is the mother of Nut, the sky-goddess, and Geb, the earth god. Her brother and husband is Shu, the god of the air, and her father is Ra, the king of all gods.

Tefnut's Temple: Outside the building there will be four white, marble fountains pointing north, east, south, and west, with pure water pouring out lushly from the spigots. They will be surrounded by full green gardens with several types of flowers and some fruit trees and willow trees ( the ones that look like they have really long hair ). There will also be a beautiful stone wall surrounding the entire temple gardens. In the middle of it all there will be white stone temple with steps leading up to it, pointing four different directions, only this time it will be north-east- guarded by lions, south-east- with the the top of the doorway painted dark blue with stars, south-west- guarded by geese, and north-west- guarded by lionesses. The temple will be open up; no doors at all. On all the walls there will be water-falls pouring down into small pools. Standing in the middle of the north-east pool would be Shu, standing in the north-west pool would be Tefnut, standing in the south-east pool would be Nut, and in the south-west pool would be Geb. Shu's statue would be a light pinkish color, Tefnut's would be turquoise, Nut's would be dark blue, and Geb's would be green. In the center of the temple would be a decent size pond, with another willow tree standing on a small island in the center of the pond. The pond would be surrounded by a fence and then an altar where you could kneel and pray to the gods and goddesses. There would be colorful, scented candles on top of the altar; green, dark blue, turquoise, and light pinkish ones. The ceiling would be dome-shaped with a solar disc hanging down from it. The ceiling would also have windows going around the bottom, so sunlight could pour in, hit the disc and make the room seem almost vibrant. Lastly a golden ankh would be built into the clear solar disc for an even brighter effect.
